i'm very proud to be a ten. >> i think you're closer to a thousand, you have a whole category unto yourself. this describes the clinton issues that you have talked about, wrote about, the secret police, right? >> we've said there is a trend to hillary clinton. a nixonian keeping score, being on top of an enemy's list. two incidents come to mind. one is that she set up this bimbo list on the campaign, betsy wright, to develop blackmail material so they could be cowed into silence. and the other is a story that stands out so strongly, bill had a birthday party at the rockefeller center, and was disrupted by some gay demonstrators. and i met with hillary a day or two later.

and she said did you see those demonstrators. and i said yeah, and she said the tickets were a thousand dollars each. they couldn't afford them themselves, the republicans paid for their tickets and put them there. and she said the same thing is going to happen at our convention next week, i want social security numbers, ticket numbers on the people in our gallery, otherwise they're going to do that to us. i knew enough not to argue, the next morning i mentioned it to bill. h he said we're not going to do that. but there is a nixonian quality to hillary clinton. >> and the media reaction to chris christie. he did something pretty dynamic and boxed himself in, went out, answered question, fired the people responsible and left no wiggle room for himself.

you know, you compare the enemy's list and you get graded one to seven if you support her or don't. >> and that they completely sat on the iraq story and let chris christie wipe it off the page. here you have a candidate for the office, and said she allowed her ambitions to get in the way regarding the support of combat in iraq. when i used to meet with clinton, he would always tell me you can never give me advice on foreign policy in person, always do it behind closed doors. he didn't want anybody to think he was injecting politics. >> we know there is a double standard, i get it. what are her obstacles? if she appears to be the appointed nominee, is it going to be what difference does it make? i don't think anybody is going to care what happened back in

the clinton years, do you at this point? >> no, i don't think so, the nice thing about the clintons, the scandals keep updating themselves. we have had two in the past two weeks. i think in the general, obama will have terrible ratings and obama care will be her big obstacle. but there is a real challenge that a left wing challenger like elizabeth warren could derail her in the democratic primary. there is a new finite defined left wing of the democratic party that is emerging. elizabeth warren is probably a prime example, bill de blasio. they want to raise the social security benefits, reduce the retirement age, eliminate the ceo salaries. and those are not positions that hillary will support. and with hillary's contributions from goldman sachs and others she is really vulnerable to a

left-wing challenge, just like she was in 2008. >> why do i keep hearing whis r whispers that she had health issues that were par more severe than was publicly revealed? have you heard the same things, and if so what? >> no, you know, i don't have any information. but the minute she left the secretary of state, the first two things she did wasches for goldman sachs at $200,000 each. the left wing of the democratic party is not going to be happy about that. and hillary's close connections with wall street i think are really going to hurt her with the left wing of the party. we could see a re-play of 2008. >> and you have no doubt she is running? >> well, if she is breathing, she is running, sean. >> if she is breathing she is running, is that your line? >> yes, that is my line, if there is a pulse to the

candadicy. >> who wants it more, her or him? >> if she wins, it will be like a vindication of his impeachment. >> all right, is christie going to get out of the pickle he is in? >> well, christian empty is not home free, he is giving an air tight denial, it is not that simple, how did they learn about the traffic configuration? why did christie hang in there saying there was a study after there wasn't any. why did he wait days, after the staff said there was no study? lots of questions there. and every one of those questions has to hurt christie, the question is how much. i think it is so interesting. it is so interesting, the two frontrunners have problems right now. >> all right, dick morris, thank you. and speaking of the governor, chris christie, he is now being accused of misusing the sandy relief funds, even though he is

and it is not for the traffic jam on the george washington bridge. the federal investigators are looking into whether or not governor christie used funds. he responded saying the obama administration reviewed and approved the ads. so what if any impact will these allegations have on governor christie in his potential 2016 run? joining us now, attorney david limbaugh, and kirsten powers. welcome to both of you. >> good to be here. >> does this mean anything, kirsten? >> the investigation about the funds? >> yes. >> well, obviously if he abused funds, it would be a terrible thing, we don't know anything yet, just the allegations that are going on. >> and my recollection, he got

the approval, to use the funds. they were able to prove it today. here is chris christie loved for being bipartisan. where is obama saying you know that he has confidence and faith in his pal, governor christie. doesn't seem like any democrats who were so fond of saying he was the one moderate republican that they could get along with, they don't seem to be coming to his aid, why is that? >> you know, i would count myself as a person who is in that camp of thinking he is a moderate governor, but that doesn't excuse what has happened on his watch in terms of this bridge closure. and the fact he had very senior people who worked for him doing this. you know, he says he didn't know anything about it. but these are senior people working for him. so i don't know how -- it doesn't reflect badly on him. >> well, it is interesting david, because you have democrats threatening to impeach christie if there is any type of smoking gun evidence that comes up in this case. you got new jersey drivers now

suing him. but where is the president, his best friend just before the election with governor mitt romney and he gets the big bear hug? where are the democrats he reached out to so many years, that he has gotten so much credit for. >> memo to establishment gop, democrats are not your friends. you need to understand that. there is a a lot of give and no take. i agree with kirsten here. i will not defend christie on this matter. one thing that bothers me more than anything is abuses of government power. and while i don't think christie was directly involved he did surround himself with the type of people whose character led to this. so i will not defend him and i will not be inconsistent about that. but that being said, there ought to be an outrage and an outcry from the rest of us about the double standard in the main stream media. it is one thing that christie has done on a much smaller scale than the millions of things

obama has done wrong. the countless abuses of power that he has done, and the media has not so much as asked a question, what did you know and when did you know about the "fast & furious"? what did you know and when did you know about the irs scandal, solyndra, while he was trying to get more funds for it. and there are countless scandals that the media has suppressed to deliberately help obama and to shield him. >> one thing you said about christie, he put his neck on the line, he left no wiggle room and took the heat and answered questions. and as you compared it, the irs scandal, the nsa, the "fast & furious," i have not seen the same forthrightness by the administration. >> you're lumping a bunch of things together that don't have anything to do, one with another. >> i didn't say they had anything to do with each other. i said there is a double

standard. >> here is my point, they don't have anything to do with each other in terms of how they were covered by the media. the fact of the matter is, the nsa investigations have gotten a lot of coverage by the media. >> who has been held accountable, and when has the question gone on record defending and answering questions. >> it is a much more complyiicad situation, because the president doesn't think he did anything wrong. i think he did, if he doesn't think he does anything wrong, then why didn't he fire anybody? hold on, "fast & furious," there is nothing to suggest that barack obama knew about it. even the most fanatical "fast & furious" person -- >> his staff did it, and they were not held accountable. >> but you're talking about obama, sean, you throw these things out like "fast & furious,". >> and christie, talking about the obama staff in the case of

being investigated and will be charged with dishing out steroids to children in florida. >> here is my heart, now, i suspect that a-rod lied before, and lied to katie couric. my feeling is that baseball has known for years, you go back to sammy sosa, everybody knew these guys were using it, major league baseball turned a blind eye, you agree with it? >> absolutely, the cap sizes were going from 7-7/8, sammy sosa was a frail guy, became the incredible hulk, barry bonds, sammy sosa, went to his house in

the dominican republic. and anybody that went to his house knew what was going on. >> they have a means, they drug test, correct? >> correct. >> and alex rodriguez passed 12 drug tests in the interim, right? >> 12 drug tests, baseball holds their drug program out as the toughest in the country. they say it is the supreme in all of sports. most importantly, it has to be 12 and 0, most importantly in this case, the one date specific that tony bosch was able to say he injected alex rodriguez with steroids and testosterone, was in detroit, he was tested before game four, and guess what? he came up negative. either alex rodriguez is a scientific freak or his body is not susceptible to testing, or science -- >> i had my suspicions about a-rod. but i have a problem with major league league baseball and their

testing cannot keep up with whatever means that are being used to cheat, then they have to change those. but in this case, if they're going to offer this guy that much money in terms of financial benefits s and a deal, didn't y pay people money in a brown bag in a car to get illegal deals? >> first of all, paying an individual $150,000 in cash, an individual whose name they didn't even know. turned out to be a career criminal. they gave him 125 -- for stolen documents, doesn't that beg a question -- if there is such an agenda to get alex rodriguez out, if they want to go out and say i was tough on steroids and control. >> if they want to get him, they have to get him the way they're getting everybody else, the double standard. >> major league baseball suspended george steinbrenner.

look what they did to get him in a no-positive test. >> most lawyers that i talk to say you have a big uphill battle dealing with a federal court on this. but i think with all the benefits that were given to bosch, and i think the fact that information was obtained potentially illegally, you may have a better case than people think. >> you darn right we do. there are times when federal courts will intervene, and when you have situation where you have to facts. you have a fundamental fairness argument where we were not given the same access as the major league baseball lawyers, most importantly you have a situation here where 162 games defies their own collectively bargained for agreements. the cba and the drug agreement, the jda, there is no calling for 162 game fos a first-time offender. >> it is 50 and 100. >> somehow they thought alex

welcome back to "hannity" earlier today the u.s. supreme court heard arguments whether president obama overstepped his authority. a decision is expected to come down sometime in june. here with reaction utah senator mike lee. you know, senator, i thought maybe i'm old fashioned, if you're going to

make a recess add pointment, it has to be at recess to make at pointment. your reaction? >> it's a sad fact if you're the president of the united states but it's true. in order to make a recess add pointment, the senate has to be in recess. unfortunately, for the president, on january 4, 2012, the senate was not in recess according to its rules and journal. which it's required and authorized to keep. and maintain under article one, section five. we're not in recess he had no power to do that. based on court reaction to the argument today i'm convinced the supreme court is going reach that very conclusion. >> well, i know it's hard to read into what the justices may be saying or questions asking in these particular hearings. it seems like it's obvious where they're going did you get the impression? >> absolutely. you can't tell in every case but in cases you can tell where

the center of gravity is on the court. today it's rather clearly against the president. that is for the simple reason in the constitution. it's against the president. people complain about recess add pointments all the time. the presidents both parties made recess add pointments. but they're different than any other recess add pointment in history the senate didn't consider itself in recess. you know, i look for example the health care law. president decides that he's going to have, he decides he's going to delay things they have they authority to do that. do you believe there is a system mattic abuse of power on a level of lawlessness here? if so, what do you do? >> yes. there is a level of lawlessness. there is significant rate here of this president trying to convert our

government into a government of one. and, with designed it was set up to prevent that from happening. saying look this is why we're our own country. why we don't salute the union jack we wanted to prevent accumulation of power in the hands of the few or one person that caused us so much suffering prior to the revolution. for this president to do this was inexcusable and un-constitutional. >> one example you have, because we have co-equal branchs of government. what are examples you see, you think real lawlessness that ought to concern americans exists now. with this white house, this branch. >> okay. so this president wanted congress to pass the dream act. congress wasn't able to get the votes. president tried to implement the dream act without legislation the president saw that his health care law, obamacare was in real trouble. so, he decided
